Jul 2026The Orthocentre Montluçon, at Hôpital Privé Saint François (ELSAN, Désertines), has been recognized as a GRACE Center for Hip & Knee surgery in 2026. Awarded by GRACE (the French-speaking Group for Enhanced Recovery After Surgery), this distinction rewards teams that apply Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS): scientifically validated practices, multidisciplinary teamwork and a patient who is an active participant in recovery. An annual, selective label, renewed every year — the Orthocentre Montluçon is currently the only certified hip and knee center in its area. Jul 2026On July 10, 2026, the Orthocentre Montluçon team travelled to Geneva, to the SFITS (Swiss Foundation for Innovation and Training in Surgery), for a workshop on anatomical specimens with the Pixee Medical team, focused on augmented-reality assisted surgery. A dense and highly successful session, run with Arvo Meier (Pixee Medical) and Dr Ulrich Haupt. Training relentlessly, in the best facilities, for safer surgery.
Jul 2026Orthocentre Montluçon has received Pixee Medical's Knee+ NexSight, the next generation of augmented reality navigation for knee replacement. The first site where the system is deployed in France, among the first in Europe. Guidance in the surgeon's field of view, in real time, with no CT scan and no robot.
